According to the provisions of Ordinamce VII of the Delhi University Calendar a candidate will be allowed to take the examination at the end of each year only if she has attended not less than 66% of the total lectures delivered in that year. Attendance for tutorials/preceptorials/practicals is computed separately.
Parents/guardians of students are requested to ensure that their wards fulfill the requirements of attendance so as to avoid detention from taking the University Examination at the end of the academic year. Attendance of students is displayed term-wise on the college Notice Board. It is the responsibility of each student to see that she has the required attendance failing which she can be refused her Admit Card for the Annual Examination.
Leave
In case of absence due to illness, a medical certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner must be submitted within a week.
Identity Card
Every student will be issued an Identity Card, which she must produce on demand. In case the card is lost, a fresh card will be issued on submission of an application and on payment of a fine of Rs. 50/- together with a passport size photograph.
Change of Course
No Change of course is permitted to students who do not have the required cut off marks for the Subject. No change of course will be allowed after the end of the first term even if a student has the requisite marks.
Payment of Fees
Tuition fee is to be paid for twelve month at the time of admission. Examination Fee will be collected in the month of September. The date of payments of fees is notified on the College Notice Board.
Fee Concession
Fee Concession and refund of Annual Charges is granted to deserving and needy students subject to satisfactory progress in studies. Applications for Fee Concession and refund of Annual Changes must be submitted by the dates notified on the College Notice Board on the prescribed form.
A number of scholarships and fee refund schemes, funded by a number of state governments and private trusts and foundations are also offered, notice for which will be put upon the college Notice Board from time to time.
Refund of Security
Refund of security is admissible according to the University Rules within six months after refund has fallen due. No claim will be entertained after 31st December of the year after clearance of all financial dues. Amount due on account of arrears of fee, loss of library books and any other charges can be recovered from this amount.
Refund of Fee Against Cancellation of Admission
Refund of Fee against Cancellation of Admission is made as per the following schedule:
- If admission is cancelled by 31st July, refund is made after deducting Rs. 5/-.
- If admission is cancelled by 14th August, refund is made after duducting Rs. 30/-.
- After 16th August, students are entitled to a refund of Security only after cancellation of admission.
- Refund cheques are made available only after 30th September.
