ADMISSION PROCEDURE
1. Admission will be stictly according to merit and as per University rules and regulations.
2. Students short listed for admission will be required to fill the prescribed form of the College. Photocopies, duly attested, of the following certificates should be attached with the application form at the time of admission.
  • Certificates of examinations passed with detailed lists of marks obtained.
  • Certificate of the Date of Birth (Class X certificate).
  • Certificate of Character from the Head of the Institution last attended.
  • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/OBC/Certification of Disability, if applicable.
  • Certificates and testimonials in Sports and Extra Curricular Activities for those applying for admission on the basis of the quota for Sports or ECA.
  • 3. Forms submitted online are also accepted, with scanned copies of the above.
    4. At the time of interview, candidates will be required to produce all original certificates together with their photocopies and two recent passport size photographs.
    5. Applicants who do not appear for the interview on the day specified or do not submit the required certificates or are unable to pay the fees within the time limit can be excluded from the list of eligible candidates.
    6. No individual information will be sent regarding acceptance or rejection of a candidate. The percentage of minimum marks acceptable for different courses will be notified on the College Notice Noard from time to time, according to the University Schedule and applicants must contact the College Office for further details.
    7. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
    8. No change from one course to another will be allowed unless the candidate fulfils the admission criteria.
    9. Physical presence of the candidate seeking admission is essential. No parent/guardian will be permitted to accompany her during the admission process.
    10. As per Ordinance XV-B of the University of Delhi, at the time of admission, every student will have to sign a declaration to the effect that she would submit to the disciplinary jurisdiction of College, the Vice-Chancellor and other authorities who might be vested with the power to excercise discipline under the Act, the Statutes and the Ordinances framed by the University.
    11. For admission to M.A., students must also apply directly to the appropriate Faculty in the University. No decision regarding admission to the College will be taken prior to the preliminary selection by the University.
