 What is clinical hypnotherapy?
Clinical hypnotherapy results in altered state of consciousness and a pleasant state of relaxation. In the trance or hypnotic-state the person can access their unconscious mind and it is a very secure and safe space for the individual. There is a heightened state of concentration with the specific purpose of maximizing potential, changing limiting beliefs and behaviors and gaining insights and wisdom. During the hypnotic-state the client is very relaxed but fully aware of their thoughts. The person in a hypnotic state is fully in control and cannot be “made to do anything” without his/her wishes. Clinical hypnotherapy can be used effectively to improve the strengths, enhance skills and sets of abilities and work on weaknesses to achieve the desired outcome.
