1. All Students must read the Notice Board every day.
  2. All College property must be handled with care.
  3. Silence must be maintained in the corridors during college hours. Anyone caught causing disturbance can have her Identity Card confiscated, which will be returned only on the payment of a fine of Rs. 50/-.
  4. Students must not leave the college premises during college hours or until their classes are over.
  5. Students are requested to keep the college premises neat and clean. Anyone caught littering the college premises or the garden can have her Identity Card confiscated, which will be returned only after the payment of a fine of Rs. 50/-.
  6. Visitors are not allowed within the college premises. Exceptional cases must be referred to the Principal.
  7. The Principal has the power to strike off the name of a student from the college rolls if she is irregular in attendance or is wanting in good conduct or is unfit for the course chosen by her.
  8. Parents are requested to confirm from the College Principal all information regarding excursions and tours on which their wards propose to go. Students must not remove furniture from the classrooms to sit in corridors. Anyone found sitting in the corridors will be fined.
  9. As per Ordinance XV-B of the University of Delhi, at the time of admission, every student will have to sign a declaration to the effect that she would submit to the disciplinary jurisdiction of College, the Vice-Chancellor and other authorities who might be vested with the power to excercise discipline under the Act, the Statutes and the Ordinances framed by the University.
  10. If a student is found guilty of misconduct/indiscipline as per the Ordinance, she, on the advice of the Principal to the Vice-Chancellor, may be expelled/rusticated for a stated period/debarred from the University for a stated period/fined with a sum of rupees that may be specified/debarred from taking the University Examination for one or more years or have the result of the examination in which she might have appeared cancelled.
  11. Under Ordinance XV-C ragging in any form is prohibited within the premises of the College, Departments of the Institution and any other part of the Delhi University System as well as on public transport. Any individual or collective act or practice of ragging constitutes gross indiscipline and shall be dealt with under this Ordinance.
  12. Bharati College does not allow or accept transfer of students to and from the other college of Delhi University on any grounds. Only migration to the School of Open Learning is permitted.
